Hereby we would like to introduce some experience when Troubleshoot Automatic Bacteria Identification Device Power Supply PCB Card:
The staff of the laboratory of our hospital used the automatic bacteria identification instrument more often in the analysis of pathogenic bacteria in the hospital and the drug sensitivity test.
Our hospital uses the bio-Mellie automatic bacteria identification instrument, model VITEK-32. According to the laboratory physician description, the automatic bacteria identification instrument can’t work normally during the multi-drug resistance bacteria susceptibility test.
After basic mainboard faulty inspection operations, the instrument doesn’t display the degree of entry, exit, up and down actions. According to the motherboard maintenance experience, first consider whether the power supply circuit board is faulty, and then use the instrument to measure the voltage of different parts on the terminal of the main board of the instrument. The result shows that there is a set of 24V power supply on the terminal of the main board has been missed.
After finding the instruction manual and the printed circuit board schematic diagram of the instrument, the preliminary prediction of the power consumption is about 200 W, so the power supply was replaced according to this parameter. After turning on the instrument again, it can work normally and the fault is eliminated.
