Using tools: multimeter, magnifying glass
When holding a NTK Power Module Board to be repaired in hand, it is good practice to first visually inspect it, and if necessary, use a magnifying glass to mainly look at:
1, whether there is a disconnection;
2, there are disconnection of components such as resistors, electrolytic capacitors, inductors, diodes, triodes, etc .;Are there any breaks or adhesions on the printed circuit board connecting lines?
3, Has anyone repaired it? Which components have you moved? Whether there are any mistakes in operations such as soldering, cold soldering, and reverse insertion.
After it is determined that the above conditions have not been repaired, first use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the power supply and the ground of the power module PC board. Generally, the resistance of the circuit board is 70. -80? Above, if the resistance is too small, only a few or a dozen ohms, it means that components on the circuit board are broken down or partially broken down, and measures must be taken to find out the broken down components.
The specific method is to power on the board, and touch the temperature of each device on the printed circuit board by hand. The hot lecturer focuses on the suspect. If the resistance value is normal, use a multimeter to measure the force-splitting components on the board such as resistance, diodes, triodes, field-effect transistors, and toggle switches. The purpose is to first ensure that the measured components are normal. Our reason is that, if the problem can be solved by multimeter, don’t make it become more complicate;
